About the Artist

Welcome to Minerals and Jewels, where you'll find beautiful minerals and handcrafted, genuine gemstone jewelry, wrapped in sterling, copper and 14K gold filled wire. All are one of a kind, quality pieces!!

I've been "crafty" all my life and I thoroughly enjoy creating one of a kind items.  My creations over the years have been diverse, from sand casted concrete leaves, to twig birdhouses, to willow furniture, and various other projects that incorporated natural materials. 

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to minerals through a good friend and collector last year and I eventually gravitated to wire wrapping gemstones.  I quickly fell in love with this art form!  Most of the stones I wrap have been hand cut and polished by local lapidary artist, Tim Jokela Jr.

I take much pride in creating each piece of jewelry with care and attention to detail. I expect that you will enjoy wearing my jewelry for many years to come!
